THANKS
This is my final class newsletter for the 2018-2019 school year. I hope you’ve found my weekly newsletter helpful and informative. Thank you for supporting your child at home throughout the year. All 5DH students have made progress towards becoming responsible, independent, self-directed learners and are well-prepared for G6 and the Middle School. I’ve really enjoyed working with your children this year, both as individuals and collectively as a class. The students have worked hard and had many learning and personal successes this year. I would also like to thank to our Room Parents, Ann Marie Godin and Sarah Galvin, who supported you, the students and myself this year. To those students and parents who are leaving Malaysia, good luck with your move and transition to your new home, school and work. Have a wonderful and safe summer/winter break with your families and friends. To all students and parents returning to ISKL for the 2019-2020 school, I look forward to seeing you around the school from time-to-time.

FAREWELL
Sadly, we will be saying goodbye to Linnea Helleren later in the week, who will be leaving ISKL soon after the end of the school year. Linnea and her family will be moving to Houston, Texas on the USA. Linnea is a valued class member and will be missed by all of us. We wish her all the very best of luck at her new school for the 2019-2020 school year. Linnea will be acknowledged at our ES Farewell Assembly on Thurs. 13 June from 11:00am-12:00pm in the Melawati Theatre, and also during a class meeting at 8:00am this coming Thurs. morning.
